After so many of you made (and loved!) my oat carrot cake, I thought I’d try another healthy bake… and this oat almond cake might actually be my new favourite.

It’s soft, nutty, naturally sweet from the bananas and has the most delicious almond filling in the middle. Honestly… ruddy delicious.

Perfect if you’re building up a little list of healthier bakes to have up your sleeve. Save this one! 👇

Oat Almond Cake

Ingredients:
300g oats
100g plain flour
120g vanilla protein powder
1 tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
60g ground almonds
4 bananas, mashed
2 eggs
2 tsp almond essence
400ml unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
40g flaked almonds
Icing sugar, to dust

Almond Filling:
60g ground almonds
200g almond butter
4 tbsp maple syrup
A little water to loosen

Bake until golden, cool slightly, dust with icing sugar and enjoy 🤍

Save for later if you love a healthy bake that still tastes like a treat.
