The Minister of Education, Dr. Maruf Tunji Alausa, has urged state governments to adopt and implement the Federal Government’s policy framework on Almajiri and out-of-school children.

The Minister also called for the implementation of relevant laws and ongoing educational reforms aimed at improving access to education.

The call was made in a message delivered at a stakeholders’ meeting with the Jigawa State Ministry of Basic Education in Dutse, the state capital.
