The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has intercepted major consignments of illicit drugs at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, including Captagon tablets concealed in consignments of Ghanaian soap and millions of opioid pills. The agency says the seizures, valued at more than ₦6.2 billion, are part of ongoing operations to disrupt the trafficking and distribution of dangerous drugs in Nigeria.
