Larry Alley III gives us a tour of his vintage Alley marbles salesman sample case which include several examples of the super collectable Alley Calligraphy models.
We do our best to compare and separate the Calligraphy examples from the other busy Alley models that they were famously known to produce, and show similar Dutch Veiligglass marbles for comparison.
Larry shows us a large portion of his Alley collection including marbles that he brought home from the St. Marys, West Virginia factory when he was a child. This was the same site that Marble King owns today.
Larry walks us through his collection of peewee marbles, boulders and every size in between.
Larry is one of the grandsons of Lawrence Alley, producer of glass marbles and other glass items from Ravenswood Novelty and the Alley Agate companies in West Virginia.
