I shut off the grid and the house stayed on—powered directly by the sun with zero batteries installed.

This quick demo shows a hybrid inverter feeding the whole-home load straight from PV.
Solar Assistant shows ~5,000W load matched by ~5,000W solar input.
Not even solar noon, and a few panels were offline—yet lights, hot water, and more kept running.

Important: this only works while PV power meets or exceeds the load. If clouds roll in, it drops. This is a proof-of-concept, not a recommendation. Always follow code, anti‑islanding rules, and consult a licensed electrician.
