Scottish singer-songwriter Ali Thomson had a hit in 1980 with this track, which he took to #15 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart and also became a Top 5 hit on the Adult Contemporary chart, going to #4. "Take A Little Rhythm" was also one of my favorite songs of 1980; I loved the arrangements used here, particularly the saxophone and guitars that really go well together. Also liked the song's positive lyrics and message, and this is another of those singles that I thought deserved to be a bigger hit.
