The vocal group called The 5th Dimension took this great cover version of a song originally recorded in 1968 by R&B singer Patti Drew to #20 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart in 1969. "Workin' On A Groovy Thing" also reached #15 on the R&B chart and its highest charting position was on the Adult Contemporary chart, where it peaked at #9. Love those arrangements, particularly the harmonies and percussion.
