Alexis DeJoria delivered her strongest qualifying performance in years Friday night at New England Dragway, racing to the provisional No. 1 position in Funny Car at the NHRA New England Nationals.

DeJoria's 3.929-second pass at 312.42 mph put the Bandero Café Chevrolet SS at the top of the field and positioned her for a first No. 1 qualifier since Bristol in 2021. More importantly, it continued the momentum building inside John Force Racing as three team entries landed in the top four.

While DeJoria stole the Funny Car spotlight, Shawn Langdon continued his championship charge in Top Fuel with a dominant 3.709-second run, and Greg Anderson led Pro Stock as he chases another No. 1 qualifier and championship push.
