The Mission #2Fast2Tasty Challenge produced three more winners Saturday at the NHRA New England Nationals, led by Jordan Vandergriff's biggest day in Funny Car.
Vandergriff defeated points leader Ron Capps in the final round of the specialty event, earning his first career Mission #2Fast2Tasty Challenge victory while also securing the first No. 1 qualifying position of his Funny Car career. The John Force Racing driver continued his emergence as one of the sport's rising stars with a 3.913-second run at 323.58 mph.
In Top Fuel, Doug Kalitta defeated Kalitta Motorsports teammate Shawn Langdon to claim his third Mission #2Fast2Tasty Challenge victory of the season. Kalitta and Langdon have now combined to win five of six Challenge events in 2026.
Greg Anderson added another Mission Challenge trophy in Pro Stock, running 6.545 seconds at 209.17 mph to defeat Troy Coughlin Jr. The win also backed up Anderson's No. 1 qualifying performance as he chased a weekend sweep at New England Dragway.
