In this AU Aleu is a stray half-wolf, she is travelling and trying to find her own place. She was not accepted by humans, and when she arrives to the jungle forest Bagheera is watching her.
He's the guardian of the forest and Aleu is asking if she can stay, Bagheera tells her that most likely she won't fit in and will have to go, he says it with sadness, he's seen so many cases like this in the past and doesn't want the history to be repeated again.
Aleu is starting to walk away, but something in her touches Bagheera's heart, he jumps from the tree and says that maybe there could be a chance, and Aleu could try. Aleu can't believe it, she's so glad and Bagheera likes her more and more.
In time Aleu stays in the jungles for good, she knows Bagheera fell in love with her and she is happy to accept this love and the fact that she finally found her place
