A little sample of what I get up to in my spare time. This is a 36 hour airsoft military simulation event run on an army training base in the Welsh mountains. The guns shoot plastic pellets (bb's) that do hurt when you get hit at close range. We use flash-bang grenades, smoke grenades, rocket launchers, rifles, machine guns and pistols. Working in 8 man squads we had to attack and hold a village held by an opposing team without accidentally injuring the civilian population (actors). Lots of fun, sleeping rough, eating army rations.
