And which are better for running? Apple’s new AirPods Pro cost almost ten times the price of many budget true wireless earbuds I’ve reviewed recently. Can they get even close to justifying this massive price differential?
In this review, I’ll be comparing them to the Tronsmart Spunky Pro earbuds I reviewed recently, since they have many comparable features, yet cost less than £30 or $30 versus the AirPods Pro £249 or $249 price tag!
I’ll be looking at what you get for your money, how easy they are to use, how well they fit for general use but also for running, any additional features like the active noise cancellation of the Airpods Pro, and of course how they both sound.
[UPDATE 22/11/2019: I find if I use the earbuds on the cycling turbo trainer they do fall out even with barely any movement. Looks like they don't cope so well with sweat! They've still been ok for running, but it's pretty cold at the moment so I'll report back how they fare with hotter, sweatier runs!]
