AI told us explicitly NOT to spray paint our solar panels... so naturally, we broke out two coats of metallic silver.
In this video, we're adding two new bifacial solar panels to the front of our Escape 24 Trailer roof to boost our off-grid power setup. From color-matching black frame panels with cheap spray paint to completely breaking our caulking gun midway through gooping the sealant with a butter knife (frosting a solar cake, anyone?), this project did NOT go according to plan—but the final result looks as factory-clean as it gets.
