Boost Biomes is developing novel microbial crop protection products with improved reliability and effectiveness relative to microbial products developed using traditional approaches. Its proprietary discovery platform uses high-throughput DNA sequencing, selective enrichment and advanced informatics to identify microbial products with important commercial roles. This approach is faster and less expensive than traditional approaches and uniquely identifies multi-microbial products which are often more effective than single microbe products. Its first products will manage diseases of high-value crops, increase overall yield and extend the shelf-life of fruit and vegetables after harvest.
