I’ve said this for years: aging is the aggressive pursuit of comfort.
We’ve engineered movement, discomfort, and nature out of our everyday lives. But the human body wasn’t designed for constant comfort. We were designed to move, adapt, get outside, and experience the world around us.
I loved talking with wildlife biologist Forrest Galante about what nature can teach us about our health and longevity, and just how far we’ve drifted from the way we were designed to live.
Sometimes improving your health isn’t about another biohack. It’s about getting back to being human.
