Affordable Micro RC Electronics
This video covers a review and discussion of the very lightweight (4 grams) radio control flight pack from the folks at MinimumRC.com
The system uses 2.4 GHz transmitter technology and lightweight actuators for the control surfaces. The actuators are mounted right to the control surface, so no servos as in conventional RC aircraft. I purchased a three channel set up with two actuators (rudder and elevator) plus throttle control thru the electronic speed controller.
The video goes over the MinimumRC website where you order the components. MinimumRC also offers a range of small RC aircraft, to include ducted fans, that use a unique system of printing colors directly onto the lightweight foam that makes for a very convincing model aircraft.
