It's the final day of Scrap Squad's 12 Days of Summer Scraplifts AND it's Mixed Media Mayhem Friday with a recipe of paint/stamp/chip AND itts my first page with my first kit from HKC -- the amazing "Around Town" collection from last month. When I saw their design team's pages I just knew I had to have it! Everything on this page is from the June main kit except the cityscape die which came separately -- and the "today" chip title is from Vicki Boutin as is the paint I used to alter it, and the stitching stamp is from Tim Holtz. The original by Sasha Farina is just stunning and I learned a lot trying to replicate her clusters. At first this seemed daunting but the HKC ephemera and chipboard stickers and enamel shapes fit the bill perfectly! My son's photo lent itself to the design and can I just say I absolutely LOVE the subway map background paper???
Thanks for watching and for following my scraplifts the past 12 days!
