I've adapted the card sketch in this Elvis Crop challenge from My Little Scrapbook Store to make it a layout with layers of scrap strips instead of a solid panel, a chipboard film strip instead of a guitar, a mix of Paige Evans and Vicki Boutin goodies with one strip of 7 Gypsies thrown in for good measure. The title relates to the LOAD prompt based on the balance required for a game of Jenga and it does relate to the pose Katie struck on the beach a few years back when John caught it with his phone camera and got the most beautiful lighting.....but it mostly relates to the balancing act she's got going now as she's becoming an independent young woman with a career she's wanted since she was a little KatieBug. I love the photo for so many reasons and I love this page. It's simple and sweet and colorful and it tells a story that anyone who knows Katie will understand.
