Having a drink or two when I’m content, happy? At a dinner? With a friend? Good. Having a drink when I’m going through a mental health spiral and usually at a bar? Not so good because it doesn’t turn into one. Sunday night was an experience I’m not really fond of, although I don’t know if it was all myself because I was socializing with someone I had just met at the bar that night, but still… I’ll speak more on this later. But the fact that I almost lost someone dear to me (on an emotional level- don’t worry, nothing happened like any accidents or anything) was a wake up call that I need to reel it in and really be aware of what I’m doing when I’m going through a mental spiral and how I treat myself when doing so. But here we go.
