Australia has received delivery of its 14th aircraft in the P‑8A Poseidon fleet, based at RAAF Base Edinburgh and operated by No. 11, 12 and 292 Squadrons. The aircraft have demonstrated strong performance across operations and exercises since first entering service.
Under AIR7000, approved upgrades will further enhance the fleet’s anti‑submarine warfare, maritime strike and intelligence capabilities, while supporting Australian industry through significant local involvement and more than $1 billion in investment.
