Army's 2nd Health Battalion (2 HB), part of 2nd Health Brigade (2 Bde), has conducted a chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear defence (CBRND) demonstration at Gallipoli Barracks, Enoggera.
It features the Personnel Decontamination Station (PDS) system, which is designed to clean troops contaminated with poisonous substances as a result of a chemical attack.
As part of the scenario, 2 HB members conducted decontamination drills, while also providing tactical combat casualty care (TCCC) to soldiers with simulated injuries.
