Exercise ALON 25 is a bilateral training activity planned and led by the Armed Forces of the Philippines and Australian Defence Force. Conducted from 15 to 29 August, it is the largest overseas military exercise for Australia in 2025.
Over 3,600 personnel are participating in Exercise ALON 25 including members of the ADF and AFP, as well as elements of the Royal Canadian Navy, and the United States Marine Corps’ Marine Rotation Force – Darwin.
Exercise ALON 25 demonstrates the strength of the Strategic Partnership between Australia and the Philippines. It allows both nations to practice multi-domain warfighting skillsets while collaborating on regional security.
