An address is a tag used in HTML to define or provide the contact information of an author or owner of a website/document or specific section of a document. The contact information can include an email address, physical address, phone number, link, social media handle, etc. However, it's important to note that the address tag is not limited to just contact information. It can be used to encapsulate any information about the author or the owner of the document or section. The text in the address element will render in italic, and browsers will always include a line break, equivalent to one br tag before and after the address element.
