I uploaded a video on the channel that has all six acoustic songs that GG recorded that week in Tampa, titled...Uncool, Unclean, Unplugged. Revised and enhanced! GG was in Florida to record his (now classic) country album titled, Carnival of Excess…considered to be one of his best albums. GG liked acoustic (and outlaw country) music for its simplicity and his acoustic material is arguably some of his most stark and reveling. In Tampa there were six acoustic songs done in 2 different sessions. The Uncool, Unclead, UnpluGGed video contains all six songs. Some of the footage (and music) can be seen in the Todd Phillips documentary about GG titled, Hated. The six tracks in this video are: Pick me up (on your way down), No Rights, Borrowed Time, This Room, Carmelita and Bleeding Stinkin & Drinkin. Classic stuff! Three of the tracks feature a female backing vocalist, The Razor, who also sang with GG on two of the studio tracks from Carnival of Excess…Carmelita and The Snakeman.
Yes, that Bob Marley flag in the intro is the actual flag that was hanging in the living room when GG was at the house. People have asked about that, which is why I mention it.
