Laptop Showdown! Acer Nitro V16 AI vs. Lenovo Legion 5 OLED!
Today we are comparing two popular laptops that are currently on sale as part of the big winter Christmas / Holiday sales for 2025.

We'll be running some gaming benchmarks with both laptop configurations to see if it is worth stepping up from the RTX 5050 to the RTX 5060, or if having the extra power in the AMD Ryzen 7 260 makes any difference.
For today's comparison we have the Lenovo Legion 5 with the AMD Ryzen 7 (260) AI processor, 16GB of DDR5 5600 system memory and the RTX 5060 dedicated GPU vs. the Acer Nitro v16 AI Gaming Laptop which comes equipped with the AMD Ryzen 5 (240) AI processor, the same 16GB of DDR5 5600 memory and the RTX 5050 dedicated GPU. Both GPU's have an 8GB VRAM buffer and should perform very similarly to one another. The biggest difference comes from how each company delivers power to the components inside of each laptop, as you'll see in the benchmarks.
