In this video, we’re taking a look at Alien: Rogue Incursion running side by side on Nintendo Switch 2 and the Steam Deck (LCD model).
I am a bit disappointed in the port here on Nintendo Switch, the lighting is flat, the shadows are not great and the textures all look low res and last generation. No impressed at all.
This is a full gameplay comparison showing how the game performs across both platforms, including visuals, lighting, resolution, and overall performance.
The good news is that the game runs well on both systems, holding a stable frame rate without needing frame generation on the Steam Deck. However, the Switch 2 version feels a bit underwhelming in certain areas, especially when it comes to lighting and overall visual quality—it’s a solid port, but definitely one that could have been better.
If you’re trying to decide where to play Alien: Rogue Incursion, this should give you a clear idea of what to expect.
💬 Let me know which version you think looks better!
