The Steam Deck is now nearly $1000 and of course we all know the ROG Xbox Ally X had a price increase to $1000 a while back, so with both about the same price, which is the best option? Do you want to give up some performance to go with SteamOS and its more console like experience and all of the community plugins or do you want the more powerful device that comes with the problems you find on almost all windows pcs? I'll leave that up to you but for today lets check out some Ratchet & Clank on both handhelds!
The ROG Xbox Ally X is running at 17w to match roughly with the 15w power draw that the Steam Deck can pull. Both are docked and being captured through the el gato 4ks.
I do have some side by side with the ROG Xbox Ally X running in docked (TURBO) mode at 25-35w as well near the end of the video!
