In acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) we acknowledge that our minds can come up with rigid, stuck stories about who we are. If your mind is telling you that "you're not good enough" or that "you'll fail." That is normal. This brief ACT practice is designed to assist you in taking on a more active role in what you do next. You can't delete the stuck stories that your mind will come up with but what you can do is acknowledge those difficult stories, connect with what's important (your values) and choose what you do next.
