Accentize dxSplit pulls a dialogue recording apart into voice, reverb and noise, then lets you EQ and route each one independently. Here we test it on real dialogue, on its own and with the dxRevive Pro integration, to find where it earns its place in a post-session.
The idea is simple and powerful. Instead of fighting reverb and background noise with subtractive processing on a single track, dxSplit gives you the three components as separate, controllable streams. Dry voice on one, the room and reverb on another, noise on a third, each EQ'd and sent where you want it. That opens up moves that are difficult or impossible with a standard restoration chain: dialling a room back without dulling the voice, or treating noise on its own bus.
We run it on problem dialogue to show what the separation actually sounds like, where it holds up and where artefacts creep in, and what the dxRevive Pro integration adds when you stack the two. If you cut dialogue for film, TV or video, this shows whether stem separation belongs in your workflow.
