An exploit that lets you easily defeat Forts and High Level Ships.

I found this glitch quite a while ago, but at the time I wasn't familiar enough with the game to understand what a powerful exploit it is. I made a brief mention of it in one of my first videos, but since I'm revisiting the game I thought I'd do up a vid.

This glitch has a few different effects on the game, but the ones in this vid are probably the most significant in terms of being an exploit.

The first effect is that the game thinks that the Jackdaw is boarding a ship, when it clearly isn't, so it lets you let go of the wheel during battles (not normally possible).

Letting go of the wheel during battles lets you control when enemy ships will attack. So just shoot an enemy repeatedly, but when you see it about to shoot, let go of the wheel, the enemy will then abort its attack and reset.

With this glitch even a fleet of the toughest ships are like sitting ducks, to a Jackdaw with no upgrades.

The other affect this 'boarding state' has on the game, is that the Naval Forts don't detect you at all. You can just wail on them, and they never shoot back, they just don't know you're there.

This glitch is a one-time deal, so the best tactic would be to – in one sitting – go through destroying all the ships and forts in order to upgrade the Jackdaw to max. Since I suspect that the state does not carry-over into missions etc.

In other words, this is a tactic to get lots of loot, resources in order to upgrade, more than some tactic during missions.

Instructions:
1. Clone the Jackdaw, see this video to learn how:

IMPORTANT NOTE: When you clone the Jackdaw, wait inside the shop menu for a few minutes, to avoid a potential game crash later on.

2. Move the new Jackdaw as far away as possible from the original Jackdaw.

3. Return to the original Jackdaw and win the ship-boarding.

IMPORTANT NOTE 2: When the game asks you what you want to do with the ship, wait a few minutes before selecting the first option, to avoid a potential game crash later on.

If the game doesn't crash after that scene, you'll see Edward floating in the ocean, and the glitch is set-up. The new Jackdaw will be nearby, and the game will think it's in a 'boarding state', which will let you destroy anything in your path...

...well nearly anything, since it doesn't seem to work at legendary ships, but there's a glitch to easily destroy them already. So that's already sorted.
