EDIT: HAHAHA. I made a mistake! I wrote that Canada has 35 billion people. Whoops! No wonder the teacher looked shocked.
NOTE: My phone ran out of space at the end of the video so it cut off too early. Basically we keep playing the race game for about 4 rounds, then we go over some of the characters by having students repeat me as a whole class. For Example, "Repeat after me: "I'm from Canada, I like Chocolate, I'm a girl, I play Tennis." and students would guess who I am by saying "I am ______".
This lesson is for my Junior High school in Kyoto Japan. It had two parts. The first was about Canada, and the second was about the grammar point. The Grammar point was "I'm from (country), I like (food), I'm a (girl/boy/teacher/student), I play (sport)"
