This song was heavily inspired by a lot of classical composers like Tchaikovsky, Shostakovisch, Liszt, Beethoven and Glinka. During writing I have also listened a lot to Mozart's requiem as I love the general mood of that.
I've also been influenced by contemporary music composers like Nobuo Uematsu (Especially the reworked Final Fantasy VII Soundtrack) Hans Zimmer, Bear McCreary (especially the God of War Soundtrack), Ramin Dwajadi, Klaus badelt and many more.
Finally bands like Skillet, RED, Symphony X, Lucassens Ayreon, David Garret, Two Steps From Hell and Nightwish were big inspirations for this track and Madness Manifest Music in general.
