I found this #abandoned shearing shed and workers accommodation just the other day on one of my #roadtrips and at first I thought nothing of it as just an old farm shed that was falling down and thought it would make for some interesting photos and left it at that.
I then ventured down closer to where the house and workers sleeping quarters were in the hope of getting a couple of good photos before I was chased off by the farmer but!, I got closer and closer and realised no fencing at all from the road. Ok I thought lets get a good proper look and BINGO!!!!
My oh my, I had no idea what was about to open to me with this explore.
I almost left after I got a couple of outside shot but then got brave and started to investigate further plus still no sign of anyone wanting to chase me off.
As I got closer to the building I started seeing the obvious signs of #abandon and open doors.
TOO good to not explore and I started filming and here is the result.
I'm in love with the architecture of the building in all their sparseness and simplicity.
I totally love the ablution block for the workers and I'd happily have a bathroom like that at my place. Stunning to view and stunning that it sits so well preserved. The shearing shed surprised me alot as from the outside it looked Meh!, but as you can hear from my voice as I got to see so much more opening up to me it was a stunningly beautiful example of outback Australian history with Im sure, so many stories from that shed. I hope you enjoy this explore as much as I did.
