"The relationship between a man and a woman just isn't very logical."
Writer/director Yoko Higuchi and Resistance Pictures would like to present to you our next short film, "A Woman's World". Inspired by the works of Hideaki Anno (creator of "Evangelion"), this is a film that follows two women (played Bre Tomey and Karen Zheng), for a 24 hour period, who have to navigate through life dealing with men. A mirror of our reality, "A Woman's World" is meant to act as both a criticism and a reflection of our society today. Using some iconic lines from Hideaki Anno's work, Yoko Higuchi set out to produce a documentary-style film with a voyeuristic lens. We hope you all enjoy our latest film! Our two lead actresses are fantastic and we couldn't have been prouder to have the chance to work with them both.
