A city that doesn't sleep? Well... it's asleep now.
On March 20th, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announced a statewide shutdown to take effect on Sunday at 8PM. Before that, director Yoko Higuchi, on his way to work, filmed the empty streets of midtown Manhattan during the ongoing coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic. An eerie sight to see the streets of New York City this empty. It was an opportunity that had to be taken.
We present to you our first short film of the year and the decade.
