Fun fact: I drew the entire background at school. It was our last day before Crimmis break, so I just brought my personal Chromebook, and got to work. It's not like we were doing anything important. We just played Uno, watched the Lorax, and coded a Christmas website; in which I instilled fear in everyone by putting in Christmas themed cursed images.

I had a treacherous headcold when I made this, and it was the only thing playing in my head the entire time. (Dont worry, all better. :] ) Something about it reminds me of Mortal Komabt, despite not using any of its instruments.
Yeah I know 1-4 is stock music. 2s is called Sand Temple iirc, but I cannot visualize such a thing upon listening. The updated version almost hits the same, but the instrumenation is very AR sounding.
I couldnt think of anything to draw for this, so I just piled any Fnaf2 related things of mine. That unfinished animation of Withered Bonnie has been sat on for a while, just because Im indecisive with my Jeremy design. The other one I did, I just used whatever was in the 2015 folder in my head without second thought.

Things I went back and fixed:
-There was an issue with the envelope of each instrument starting and stopping. It would make a click noise if there wasnt a rest or OFF between one note and the next. To fix this without sounding choppy, I put the OFF just above the next note, with a note delay of 2. That way, it can start the new note properly, without the previous note stopping too early.
-Fixed the way triplets were written. They were a bit rushed before, so I evened them out. This was mostly due to A. not knowing how triplets were supposed to be written anyway, and B. not knowing the second command to change the tempo, so the rate would throw off the timing of note delays.
-Spliced in some tracks that I already had updated as their own stand-alone thing. Notably, the Ring Grotto theme, and Season 1 High Stakes.
-Fixed a lot of brass instruments. Some had too much of a waver effect, some were too crispy. I made them more strong, full, an smooth.
-Fixed the Oboe instruments. Yes there were multiple oboe instruments for different tones. (Not irl obviously, just for this program.) I find that Woodwinds and Pianos are the hardest sound to replicate on an FM sound chip.
-Fixed a ton of balancing issues. Mostly with basses.
-Fixed the pitch shifting. Pitch shifting is a thing I always to to my genesis music. Like a recording on a cheap VHS, or a warped vinyl. I usually pitch it up or down about 0.3 semitones. Here, I pitched it up for more Freedom Fighter oriented scenes, and down for more Robotnik oriented scenes. (The doubling over sound that sometimes happens is just a side effect of this.)
-Fixed and modified a lot of instruments in Heres the Plan, and Go Time.
-Added a scene with sound effects. I kinda just heard it in my head, and had to put it in.
-Added the slight pause and harp arpeggio in Impending Pummeling
-Modified some instruments in So-So

The entire song only uses instruments from Genesis and Snes Plug-ins. Aside from a couple in game sfx. I used Genny and Chipsynth, and then Reaper as my DAW.
I wasnt planning on this song having lyrics for a while, but the last line and Chicas solo came to me once-upon-a mid Splatoon match. The song itself only took a few weeks total.
The animation was all done on Ibis Paint, except not the animation feature. I did that with a Survive the Night clip, and it kept crashing and breaking the file, so nope. Did it the ol fashion way where I treat layers like cels and save each frame as a png, send them to my Drive, download them on my phone and put them together with the audio on Inshot.
Took me over 3 months. This has been my whole summer. Just this.
A very large portion of this video has symbolism in it. I would explain it here, but I wanna read your little condensed thought-boxes first.
Oh and have fun finding super wacky smear frames. Thats my favorite part.
