I have this whole cinematic sequence in my head for this song, but I sketched out a storyboard of the most vivid part at school.
It starts with them landing from the space colony, and going from there.
At the start, Snively harmonizes with Julian (mostly for the main chorus,) but then gradually gets quieter as Julian starts to take the show for himself.
Uncle Chuck is the one who does the spoken Lorax part, and it goes like Helluvavoss (I am not a hardcore fan, I just saw the one episode if you were wondering) mode and has this whole crazy visual sequence of him roboticizing midway through, and the background is doing whatever.
Idk if I'll board the beggining half, so I'm just telling you now.

The entire song only uses instruments from Genesis and Snes Plug-ins. Aside from a couple in game sfx. I used Genny and Chipsynth, and then Reaper as my DAW.
I wasnt planning on this song having lyrics for a while, but the last line and Chicas solo came to me once-upon-a mid Splatoon match. The song itself only took a few weeks total.
The animation was all done on Ibis Paint, except not the animation feature. I did that with a Survive the Night clip, and it kept crashing and breaking the file, so nope. Did it the ol fashion way where I treat layers like cels and save each frame as a png, send them to my Drive, download them on my phone and put them together with the audio on Inshot.
Took me over 3 months. This has been my whole summer. Just this.
A very large portion of this video has symbolism in it. I would explain it here, but I wanna read your little condensed thought-boxes first.
Oh and have fun finding super wacky smear frames. Thats my favorite part.

I wrote and finished this song before I even finalized Paranormal Powerhouse, but I figured Id share it after.
When I mean 1-3, I mean I looked at all the rare screens, poster changes, minigames and such from said games while I was playing back the music, making sure it lined up with the right brain fold. Thats how I usually do it.
I have also learned I cant always play what I write lol. I have a piano, and I tried playing the part at 2 minutes in. I programmed in those notes, surely I can play them with my tiny hands! Well I can, just a LOT slower than what I wrote.
