Plato’s conception of the human good life remains a treasure of insight, standing as a bastion against the errors of our age, and a bulwark for the Christian worldview. These talks (held on November 7 & 14, 2022) will focus on some key Platonic insights into human nature, knowledge, the moral life and the end/perfection of man. John A. Cuddeback, Ph.D., is professor of Philosophy at Christendom College, where he has taught for twenty-five years. He lectures widely on topics including virtue, fatherhood, friendship, and household, and his professional writings appear in various academic journals and books. His book True Friendship was recently republished by Ignatius Press. His blogging at Life-Craft.org, where he offers the online courses Man of the Household and Woman of the Household, is known for applying ancient wisdom to life today.
