At the heart of his thought stands the centrality of the Word of God, which must shape our thought and prayer. This talk unpacks Benedict’s teaching on divine revelation, how biblical interpretation must reunite history and faith, and why we need a return to the practice of lectio divina, the prayerful meditation on Sacred Scripture.

He is the author of How the Eucharist Can Save Civilization (TAN) and editor of Renewing Catholic Schools: How to Regain a Catholic Vision in a Secular Age (Catholic Education Press). He and his wife Anne have six children and he is a Benedictine oblate.
