When I was 12, my NY aunt gave me tickets to The Who’s Tommy on Broadway. I wish I could better articulate just how much I loved that show and the music. I saw it again, and of course got the CD which I played constantly. The show was only on Broadway for about two years, and now that was almost 30 years ago that it left, longer since I’d seen it. Mia loves Broadway shows but that ended before her first trip to NYC. For years and years I’ve been wishing for Tommy to come back so I could see it again, and with Mia this time. Finally Tommy came back! You can imagine my excitement at the chance to see the show again… but that’s not all. 10-year-old Tommy is played by my friend Josh’s son! Seriously, GET OUT! How insane is that? Needless to say, we need to go to NYC and see Tommy! (You guys may remember Josh from the camp video posted back in November.
