Do you remember the video of feral cat with a mouse in his mouth from a few videos back? (LINK is in the Description). We've made friends; I've named him Hunter; and I brought him some food to the walking trail today.
Further up the trail in the cemetery grows a fascinating tree, a Northern White Cedar. I've been hoping for months that a branch would fall out so I could try it for a bow drill fire board with a Horseweed spindle. I found a small dead branch and persuaded it to brake off. Hmmmm! I THOUGHT it was going to an easy ember maker. What a challenge!
