They had one group take vitamin D and selenium… and another group took the same supplements but also used near-infrared light at 820 nanometers.

They treated the thyroid directly—32 joules per cm², twice a week for three weeks. And the results?

The group using light therapy saw significantly better improvements—thyroid normalization, weight loss, lower BMI, and reduced waist measurements.

That’s a pretty big difference from just supplements alone.
