For the last 400 years, the mathematicians have confused number lines with dimensions, coordinates, and vectors. Number lines belong exclusively to Mathematics. Dimensions, coordinates, and vectors belong exclusively to Physics. It is because the mathematicians never learned the distinction that they reached the irrational conclusion that time is a dimension.
