I walk you through the most useful (and perhaps the most broken) glitch in the game (which I now call the Power Launch for... well... an obvious reason - I am a massive bighead). I also feel the need to time everything with the music, so you may need to pause quite a bit.
This video was recorded on version 1.0.2 on the Nintendo Switch version of the game.

I forgot to mention and/or stress a few things in this video. Here they are:
1. The way I thought that this could be implemented into a speedrun was that, right before you clipped through the wall in the Dojo mission, you could grab one of the 10k super bricks to cover the 8k needed for the call-in point nearby and still leave 2k spare. After that point, you'd drive past Chan's scrapyard, build the call-in point and launch onto the top of the building, collecting the Red Brick before you go back to meet Chan's gang (although I don't know how good of a route this'd actually be since I don't speedrun the game).
2. Although I did say in the video that the glitch works when spawning in a vehicle or when the game has spawned in a vehicle that's guaranteed never to change, I forgot to stress that these are the only conditions under which the glitch works - vehicles that were being driven before you stole them or parked vehicles that have a chance of changing do not cause the glitch to happen. I also forgot to mention that the glitch is inconsistent, so if the glitch doesn't work even with you doing everything right, just keep trying it until you get it. (Edit: Another thing I forgot to stress is that the vehicle must have full health since the other player must be in the balancing animation when the vehicle explodes, and said animation will not trigger on a damaged vehicle.)

2. (Edit: Never mind - it turns out that the following isn't the case and is inconsequential anyway.) I have been informed by YT user Trentthekid64 2 in a comment (which shouldn't be too far below this one) that the trick may not work in 1.0.0. Since this is the best version for speedrunning (as you can actually skip cutscenes), I'm no longer sure that this is as revolutionary for runs of this game as I had once thought (which really sucks). It'd definitely be useful in 1.0.2 runs, though.

For a 7-and-a-half minute video, I didnt think it would take this long to make it.
As it says in the video itself, this is mainly an editing test, so please let me know what you think in a comment.
I also have played this mission so many times due to experimenting with various glitches, and I found that the character in the first section, Officer Lopez-Delgado, actually said some pretty funny stuff if you waited around that not many people wouldve known about, so I felt as though Id give him some more attention by making a video about him... that only about 5 people will watch. :(
A side-effect of playing it so much, though, is that Ill never forget most of the stuff he says, so I suppose Im cursed now. At least I know about some unbelievable glitches there - stay tuned for them (in about a years time, since thats how long itll take to edit at this rate). :)")

Notes on the Run:
Throughout this run, youll notice that the game keeps speeding up. This is because I used a trick called curse acceleration - basically, whenever you swear, the game will enter a state of shock and confusion, which tricks it into increasing gameplay speed by 5% every bad word. (Interestingly, the game does not seem to count fornication, instead separating said word into a different category entirely, named humorous_terms.)
Unfortunately, at 0:41, I messed up a button input, deactivating the glitch. It is difficult to re-trigger the glitch at this point, but I managed to pull it off at the skin of my teeth (haha thats what she said xd) at 0:51, thereby bringing the speed back to 215%.
At 0:54, there is a trigger to have to game slow down for a cinematic zoom-in on Lionels beautiful face. There is no known way to bypass this, so we may as well just see it as the blessing that it is.
Oddly, while the word willy (spoken at 0:56) is counted in the games files as a curse_word, its severity_level does not exceed the level needed in order to confuse the game (its value is 2, whereas the required amount is 5 out of a possible 10), so the game regains its composure during this brief period.
On a final note, in case you cant tell at this point, this is a sh!tpost meme. However, what you probably didnt know was that it wasnt originally going to be a speedrunning one - I just added that idea at the last second. This means that you have been thoroughly tricked, backstabbed and very definitely bamboozled. Youre welcome.
