[Update: This was originally uploaded as an unlisted video on the 8th of March 2020, i.e., before update 3.0.0 came out. The machine itself is slightly outdated at this point, but I thought I might as well upload this in case it helps someone at some point.]
I haven't seen anyone make something like this yet, so I thought I'd share my own design to detect whether people online are playing in Co-Op or in VS. Certain parts are slightly outdated and I'll probably share images and clips of an updated version at some point in the future, but the way it works is the same; starting over in VS is different from starting over in Co-Op, so all that's needed is a contraption that can pick this up without cheese... and I think I have the solution.
