Furnace Golems may look terrifying, and while they can kill you in just a couple hits, they actually go down somewhat easily. Keep chopping away at their legs until they fall down, then get a critical hit on the mask. Two crits and they should be dead!

Divine Beast Dancing Lion is your first level check of the game. I highly recommend coming back with your blessing level around 5 or higher. If you find yourself getting 2 shot by this boss, go explore the Realm of Shadow and come back later. Treat this boss like you did with Margit in the base game!

Messmer is an extremely difficult boss in Shadow of the Erdtree. I HIGHLY recommend equipping armor with fire mitigation, including the best shield you can manage to hold. Upgrade it so you dont lose as much stamina when blocking, and pay close attention to his delayed swings. He will drag the spear on the ground to freak you out, but dont dodge until you actually see it get close to you.
For phase 2, attack the snakes and keep swinging when Messmer is coming back up!
