In this video, we look at the regulation of blood glucose concentration. First we explore how the blood glucose concentration can increase or decrease, looking at the terms glycogenolysis, gluconeogenesis and glycogenesis. We then look at how insulin and glucagon are used to regulate the concentration of blood glucose. This includes how insulin binds to the insulin receptor and triggers increased glucose absorption by cells.
