In this video we look at monogenic inheritance. I show you how to carry out a genetic cross, looking at one gene with two alleles - dominant and recessive. We cross true-breeding pea plants with green pea pods and true-breeding pea plants with yellow pea pods to produce the F1 generation. We then cross the F1 generation to produce the F2 generation. Finally, we look at Mendel's law of segregation.
