A typical sign of a failed hard disk drive is the "click of death" where the read/write heads continually reset in an attempt to locate track 0 on the disk platter. Usually it ends up making a clicking/knocking noise due to the extreme head movement from end to end and the drive is most of the time unrecoverable.
The WDL-330P is a specialized, proprietary kind of 30MB 8-bit IDE HDD used with older IBM PC systems including a few compatibles from other manufacturers.

I had bought a pair of Toshiba 5.25 floppy disk drives off of eBay (from the same seller as the lot of LS-120 Superdisk drives!) earlier this year and already unboxed one and fixed it up so I videoed unboxing the second one and fixing that up as well.
