A week or so ago I presented an unknown vocalization I called the Siren Howl because that is what it sounded like. The presence of other weird howls and calls along with wood knocks may have pointed to a non-traditional animal making the sound. I asked for help and received many responses. Ornithologists even provided known bird calls to compare with what I found. Here is the process I used to try to figure out what it was that I captured. The process of both reasoned self and peer review is vital to any type of research. Thank you for listening.
